Why in News?

Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing assured India that Myanmar’s territory would not be allowed to be used against India’s security interests.

India raised concerns regarding insurgent groups operating near the India–Myanmar border and discussed connectivity projects such as the Kaladan Multimodal Transit Transport Project and the India–Myanmar–Thailand Highway.
